81% of respondents of the survey conducted by Gallup International Association Armenia representation, assessed positively the activity of Armenia’s Prime Minister Garen Garabedian, Director of Gallup International Association Armenia representation Aram Navasartian told reporters on March 6, reports “Armenpress”.
In response to a question “How do you assess the activity of Prime Minister Garen Garabedian?”, 22.4% of the respondents said very positively, 58.6% rather positively, 9.9% rather negatively, 3.8% very negatively.
“Overall, 81% of the respondents positively assess the PM’s activity”, Navasartian said, recalling that based on the survey results conducted in November only 84% positively assessed the PM’s activity.
“How do you assess the work conducted by the newly formed Government within the last 6 months?”, 62,3% of the respondents assessed positively.
Aram Navasartian said after Garen Garabedian’s appointment as PM, an atmosphere of positive expectations was formed within the public, and asked “To what extent the positive expectations were justied within the 6 months of the Government”, 64.5% of survey participants answered that the positive expectations are justied.
Coming to a question which says “Please identify three sectors which the PM must rst of all deal with”, the respondents identied the followings: creation of jobs, general economic issues, corruption problems, healthcare, education, foreign policy issues.
“Would you like Garen Garabedian remain as Prime Minister after the parliamentary election?”, 34.6% of the respondents said denitely yes, 47.6% rather yes, 6.2% rather no, 2.7% denitely no.
Overall, 82.2% of the citizens gave positive answers and want Garabedian to remain as Prime Minister after the parliamentary election.
1146 citizens participated in the survey which was conducted from February 23 to March 2 in Armenia.
